Women's Ministry
Purpose:
To bring women together, to learn to serve our Lord as we serve each other and our community, to grow as godly women and to leave a Christian legacy for the next generation. We desire that the women of VBC know the Lord better, follow Jesus Christ and desire to serve Him in the unique way God has planned for each one.
Specific Responsibilities:

Ministry Opportunities:
We are always looking for women to help with or lead the four quarterly events that Women's Ministry sponsors each year. If interested in helping with an event, please contact the church office, 501-922-0404.
Sweet Hour of Prayer:
One of the vital parts of VBC's Women's Ministry is our weekly prayer group on Thursday mornings at 10:30 in the church parlor. Because prayer is the bedrock of the church, this time is given to worshiping the Most High God and interceding to Him for the needs of the group and their families, the church family, and the nation. All prayer warriors are invited.
Women's Events:
Each year the Women's Ministry host four quarterly events to bring the women of the church and surrounding community together bond, share ideas and serve our church and community.
Healthy Move:
The purpose of the Healthy Move program is to provide a Christ-centered safe place for women new to Hot Springs Village. This class is offered yearly in the spring and fall.
W.IN.G.S
VBC’s Women’s Ministry has lots of little puzzle pieces fitting together to create the overall picture of Women’s Ministry. Those little pieces include Ladies Bible Study, A Healthy Move class, Sweet Hour of Prayer, Hurting Moms, the Women’s Summer Book Club, and our Quarterly Events. We are excited to be adding a new piece to the puzzle called W.IN.G.S
Women's Bible Studies:
Opportunities to grow in faith through classes offered through the women's ministry meeting Wednesday mornings with some classes offered Thursday evenings.
Ladies Sunday Bible Class:
Continuous in Room 110
A place for women to come together to share prayer requests and study God's word with a teaching and discussion format.
Hurting Moms
The Hurting Moms Support Group is for mothers who have children who are estranged from their families, struggle with addiction or have chosen an alternative life style. We support each other through sharing, bonding with others who understand the pain, prayer, and growing friendships. Right now we're studying the book, Reaching Your Prodigal by Phill Waldrep. The book may be purchased at your first meeting for $10.00.
If you're a mother who finds yourself hurting, but don't have anyone to share your heart with, please join us on the first Saturday of the month from 10:15 AM to Noon in the cozy Loft at Village Bible Church.
